Diet FOOD and Your BODY

Dis-ease is your body sending a message that you are not giving it what it needs to thrive OR are giving it too much of what is harmful (this can be spiritual, nutritional, emotional, etc.). One of the major lifestyle influences that we control to impact our risk of developing chronic disease is the food we consume.

Eating a diet full of processed and fried foods, sugar, artificial sweeteners, food dyes, fast food (man’s foods), and meat and non-organic caffeine negatively affects the body. Many of these effects gradually lead to chronic illnesses and dis-ease.

“Work With Your Body” by eating a diet high in raw, organic vegetables and fruits (God’s foods) which have cleansing, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, healing effects on the body.

The very first, and sometimes hardest, lifestyle change for a balanced healthy body is your diet.

Then God said, ‘I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.’ (Gen. 1:29-30 NIV)

We have to RELEARN and RETRAIN our belief system about food.

Food is not just for enjoyment and to keep us alive.

Food provides biological information to all the cells and cellular DNA of our body.

Food is actual medicine to help the body thrive, not to simply survive with illness.

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” He also said, “Keep away from the chemist’ s pot if you can heal from food.” (Hippocrates)

It has been said by an unknown source, “What you choose to put in your body is either; feeding your body, OR it is feeding your disease” (cancer, heart disease, diabetes, poor vision, etc.).
